GUIDE SPECIFICATION
It is recommended that this guide specification be incorporated into
project specifications as a complete and separate section under Division 9
– Finishes, using the format as outlined herein and using Section number
09110 as listed under Construction Specifications Canada Master Format,
Master List of Titles and Numbers, for the Construction Industry.
The complete standard for products and application methods for Interior
Steel Studs and Furring as contained within Parts 2 and 3 of this Section
of the Standards, is automatically included in the project specifications
by use of the “Quality Assurance – Standard Specifications” clause. The
actual project requirements, where optional in these standards, is the
only addition or modification required to be made by the Specifier to the
guide specification.
The use of Parts 2 and 3 of this Section of the Standards implies
acceptance of all the standards contained within those Parts and any
required additions, deletions or modifications to these Standards must be
clearly stated by the Specifier in the project specifications.
Clause “1.2 – Related Work under other Sections” lists work related to
this Section but not to be included as part of the work of this Section.
